A Country Touch, LLC was founded in September, 2001 by Tracie Rydgren and Debbie Stinar. Natives of Northern Colorado, Debbie and Tracie were raised on family farms and educated in rural schools. They spent almost three combined decades traveling to area and regional craft fairs to sell their creations.
Tracie and Debbie founded this company on a vision: to bring the best that weekend and holiday craft fairs have to offer together under one roof. Immediately, Debbie and Tracie found enjoyable challenges and wonderful customers coming to their Evans store.
Our formative years as a company are still with us, and every season brings new challenges. Within our first year, A Country Touch doubled retail space at the Evans location to accommodate the needs of our customers. Then in November 2004 we moved to our current location at Centerplace in Greeley. Our customers continue to show us great support. We now employee four wonderful part-time employees. We also have a junior partner helping in all aspects of the business, and we're very excited to share our success with our kids and grandkids! Every day at A Country Touch feels like a family event because of the special bond shared between us, our staff, and our customers. We hope this experience will continue and thrive for many years to come!
Our goal is not just to sell a product. Big-Box stores can do that with the human touch of an assembly line. We are different. We aim to build strong bonds with our customers and employees through personal, professional, homespun relationships. We want A Country Touch to be a place to shop, and to work, where down-home respect for people is paramount, and the building and nurturing of relationships is measured not by stock prices and sales volume, but by the personal satisfaction of employees, customers, and owners.
